Lisa and Mike are very accommodating, providing use of a barbeque grill, fire pit, comfortable lawn chairs and even kayaks to their guests. Cabinets in this cottage are abundant in both the kitchen and bath providing adequate space to store just about everything. Another huge plus to this Platinum Cottage is the full-size stainless steel appliances that are easy to use and clean, especially the convection/microwave combo located above the stove.

The quality ceiling fan mounted overhead completes the great little deck. Many visitors to Highland Lakes Tiny Homes realize that a Platinum Cottage is an ideal solution to a challenge most of us face. Moving them directly into our own homes isn’t often seen as the best next step. Our experience is not cramped or constrained. In fact, we recently rented a large home (around 1800 sq. ft.) for a week. We kept loosing things in all that space.

The windows in the bedroom are numerous and strategically placed both for best light and privacy. The double closets on each side of the deep drawer built-in dresser provide nice storage for clothes, hanging or folded. The fact that there are no built-in nightstands allows for some room rearranging if desired. Electrical and plumbing appliances are standard. Projects can be purchased at the local hardware store, not an RV or Trailer dealer.

Creating a cozy environment can be easy in a small space. Lake LBJ is a "constant level" lake that is popular for boating, waterskiing, fishing and all water sports. We don't have a problem with low water. The lake is 22 miles long and is a boater's paradise. Lake front property with room for the whole family!

Kingsland Cozy Cottage

The Meadowview tiny home is a 15 foot wide home like the Tumbleweed. However, the wrap around porch creates 2 different widths inside. The back end is 15 feet wide, so the bedroom is larger and can accommodate a king sized bed.

We like the extra wide door on the bathroom and the large walk-in shower. We are located one hour west of Austin in the heart of Texas Hill Country on a small private lake in Kingsland. Come out to visit Granite Lake to tour the tiny homes and enjoy the property. If your park model home offers an elevated bedroom, create romance by being sure you have everything just right before you turn in for the night. This can be especially fun if you don’t normally use that space for sleeping.
