This is truly a resort paradise at the water’s edge! Centrally located where the Colorado and Llano Rivers join, set in a quaint neighborhood off Hwy 1431, in Kingsland, TX. Rental houses are available for meetings, vacations, and getaways, whether a summer rental for family vacations or a seasonal getaway for Winter Texans.
The 11 foot 2-inch-wide Lark fits a queen-size bed. The bedroom is a bit smaller than the bedrooms in the 15-foot-wide homes. The tradeoff is that it leaves more room for the kitchen / living area. The longer 11-foot-wide format separates the noise of activities in the front living area such as the TV from the bedroom sleeping area.

The windows in the bedroom are numerous and strategically placed both for best light and privacy. The double closets on each side of the deep drawer built-in dresser provide nice storage for clothes, hanging or folded. The fact that there are no built-in nightstands allows for some room rearranging if desired. Electrical and plumbing appliances are standard. Projects can be purchased at the local hardware store, not an RV or Trailer dealer.

I have also found the kitchen farm double sink very nice for doing dishes and clean up even though it is plastic and not porcelain or stainless steel. The laminate countertops throughout the cottage are easy to clean, appear to be durable, and are attractive as well. Personally I like the double seat shower stall in the bath that has sliding real glass doors and is surprisingly easy to use and clean. The ceiling cut out in the shower can accommodate a person over six feet tall. The water saving porcelain stool and sink in the bath are also very nice both for ease of use and to clean.
Looking for a phone took WAY longer than in our compact Platinum Cottage. The Meadowview tiny home is a 15 foot wide home like the Tumbleweed. However, the wrap around porch creates 2 different widths inside. The back end is 15 feet wide, so the bedroom is larger and can accommodate a king sized bed.
We like the extra wide door on the bathroom and the large walk-in shower. We are located one hour west of Austin in the heart of Texas Hill Country on a small private lake in Kingsland. Come out to visit Granite Lake to tour the tiny homes and enjoy the property. If your park model home offers an elevated bedroom, create romance by being sure you have everything just right before you turn in for the night. This can be especially fun if you don’t normally use that space for sleeping.
